New tooling capabilities at our factory in Pune
Helvoet India is a major player in manufacturing precision plastic components for example for power train and fuel modules of passenger cars. However, the new emission norms are tightening up and the growing electrification of all kinds of vehicles is strongly pushing new developments which require components with tightest tolerances.
We have been proactively working on products which enable internal combustion engines to meet the new emission norms, not only for passenger cars but also for new age two wheelers.
Especially in the area of mechatronics like:
- actuators
- electric water pumps
- vacuum pumps or
- throttle bodies
the applications require complex insert molded plastics parts made from high performance, heat resistant polymers like PA66, PPS, PEEK or thermosets.
With over three decades of experience in injection moulding these kind of components Helvoet India has build up an extensive knowledge, which is now transferred also on the mould manufacturing processes.
To set up the right surroundings, a new tool shop building has been installed and fully equipped. Besides existing equipment, our tool shop now also counts with a Makino V33i 3-axis milling machine, a Studer cylindrical grinding machine or a Charmilles spark EDM machine. The CNC area has a VFD based climate control and everything is prepared to manufacture high precision moulds in-house.
