Which events are upcoming in the next months and why you should visit them?
Since the start of the pandemic the global way of interacting has changed a lot and all physical events had to switch over to the virtual world.
Helvoet has adapted to this challenge and we hav been quite active on different digital meetings where the exchange with our partners, customers and new contacts took place online.
However we have to say – we are happy that physical events are back and allow us to get in touch with you again, in person!
When it comes to 1-on-1 discussions, engineer-to-engineer talks or simply brainstorming on new opportunities, nothing beats the direct personal chat.
Safety comes first!
There is no doubt that the current situation requires adjustments and a clear concept how to deal with hygiene, protection and distancing on these events.
But the organizers have set up clear guidelines in correspondence with the regional authorities which will allow safe visits and interactions on the booths.
For the upcoming months we will be attending three events:
Fakuma 12. – 16. October Friedrichshafen (GER) Hall A5, Booth 5104
FAKUMA is one of the biggest and most important shows for the plastic industry in Germany, in Europe and globally. Two thousand exhibitors come together in Friedrichshafen at Lake Bodensee to exchange latest developments on material, processing and finishing or recycling technologies. We will be again in hall A5 on the joint booth area of the TecPart / GKV association, booth number 5104, but this time right at the main hallway.

Compamed 15. – 18. November Duesseldorf (GER) Hall 13, Booth A21
COMPAMED and MEDICA are always held together on the large fairground in Duesseldorf Germany. One of the world’s biggest events for the medical industry brings together all players of this business.
The halls for Compamed are more focused on medical devices and its whole supply chain and here we will be once again, together on the booth with our fellow Flow Alliance members Micronit and Axxicon.
Microfluidics has become a big force amongst the new diagnostic, drug discovery and environmental or food testing developments and lab-on-a-chip products made out of polymers finally allow a ramp up to high serial volumes.
So the commercialization of small and quick tests has begun to grow strongly, with the Flow Alliance being the full service partner to support this.
Note: Compamed has moved from halls 8a / 8b to halls 13 / 14 due to the governmental conversion of the original halls into vaccine storages.

Duroplasttagung 24. – 25. November Parktheater Iserlohn (GER) Expo area
Since over 2 decades the thermoset industry comes together every 2 years at a very specialized and technical conference held in the Parktheater in Iserlohn.
Organized by the Kunststoff Institut Lüdenscheid, the Duroplasttagung is the right place to be for OEMs, TIER1s, manufacturers, material suppliers and other businesses to exchange thoughts and information about possibilities in lightweight construction and metal substitution with resin-based polymers.

What can you expect from us?
Each location of Helvoet Group is specialized in a different technology and market area so we will bundle these competences and present the latest developments and possibilities in polymers, elastomers and assemblies. Depending on the event the focus area will be more on cleanroom moulding and medical activities like microfluidic chips or it will highlight more the possibilities of lightweight construction and metal substitution.
